I tried to take a pic, but with the eye relief being that huge it's not a easy picture to take. It works great for what it does, which is more of a sharpshooter/scout scope than a sniper scope. I'd prefer a closer one, but it was my only real option in terms of optics without having to physically alter the wood itself, which is way too pretty for me to risk fucking up.

I might have it refinished a bit darker, though...motherfucker GLOWS in the sunlight.

Finally, my primary. VFC 416, bought it and gave it a new 6.01mm MadBull tightbore barrel. TM Hop-up, TM Gearset, VFC stock motor (N/a) and VFC v2 gearbox. Shoots like a charm. I added onto it the G&P Aimpoint, ICS Ready Mag System, Magpul FDE AFG, XTM Rail panels, and MOE stock. Ehh, I don't have many other hobbies anymore, so why not.

Mine and Poraboo's only problem with D-Boys is the failure rate. We've both seen, first-hand, that they can't stand up to long-term use as well as other brands. I mean, not all D-Boys guns are lemons, but the number of lemons in the brand is a lot higher than Echo 1, G&G, Classic Army kind of, and of course Tokyo Marui.

Traded the Tanaka...this is sheer investment, though - I'll be trying to sell it on Arnies, more than likely. (because no one in WNY would ever buy it outright, especially for what it's actually worth)

No. 9895 ID: 76d70f

Talked to Dobey, he's going to look at another bipod design, because he feels Walther's design felt flimsy. I need to go out to Penn Yan when I want to upgrade the inner barrel, as he needs to machine it a bit to fit it in.

I need to buy some pure tung oil to keep the wood in good shape, and he won't mill the Walther trademarks for me, because Walther emailed him a cease and desist over his first wa2000 build.

Awww that sucks, Trades would have been LEGIT. Get him to custom do something or put a . in between the W and the A. Come out to the OP on the 28th? Also, I would put a sweet lookin scope on there. The Leapers just kinda ruins it.
No. 9900 ID: 6ae2f7
>>9898

Whats on the 28th? NMLB3? I'll definitely be there, the Bar Team will be in full effect as well. Max participation is encouraged.

He said another teammate of his does Laser-etching, so trades may still be a possibility, however Dobey said he himself will not do them due to legal recourse.

Also, of anyone wants to buy the wa2000, I AM selling it, but seeing as it's a custom piece, and only 2 exist, it's not cheap; and certainly not for those with shallow pockets, or those who do not take airsoft and collecting 100% serious.

honestly if it wasn't a custom-built an completely amazing conversational piece, it wouldn't be nearly that much. Sadly due to its uniqueness I can't exactly take a huge cut on it. Sorry. :\

I was just thinking the same thing. That AK is kind of nice.

How does it feel? Nice and heavy, solid, or cheap and plasticky?
No. 10060 ID: b22f28
>>10035

Heavy and solid, but it's a plastic body. I have a large brick battery in the stock so that really contributes to the weight.

The upper receiver is loosely fitted though, not very secure. probably the only thing that feels cheap, and it's metal!

The Ashai WA2000 sell for $3000+ and add the custom factor and you have a nice investment.
No. 10086 ID: 6ae2f7
>>10075

Yeah, definitely thinking about it...it's a really unique piece, and a tightbore will help it immensely - only downside is I need to have it installed by the guy who made it, because he needs to machine it down to fit inside the MP7, because it uses the same barrel as a pistol.
