IS ARRIVE FAST
LIKE BEAR
ROCKET BEAR

Gunner didn't even send me a tracking number. Oh well. Boneyard G3 from Airsoftmegastore got here too. All fixed up with a new gearbox from an Echo 1 M4.

The PPSh's mag has trouble feeding, and the hop-up bucking was incorrectly installed. Not that I should expect much better from a couple Chinese guys building toy guns in a Hong Kong basement. Any tips on how to get the orange paint off without ruining the finish?

IS SEXY...LIKE SEXY BEAR.

Did the strap come with the gun?

As for the orange tip, Either spray paint or redo the whole thing by itself.

>>6009
Yeah, it comes with the sling.
I guess I'll spray over the orange.

Also, the battery compartment is tiny as hell. I'm gonna have to get a new 9.6v mini because the one I've got is a nunchuck-type and won't fit.

Not like it's a contest or anything, just describe what you're doing and how long it takes you.

Also, the size of the sites I play at and the state of the overgrowth, if you drop something, you either pick it up then and there or it's gone, brah.
No. 6006
hmm define chest rig
All ive got in a plate-carrier with pouches, does that count?

Allright, now that I have a decent rig, gun, and gear, I need a radio/mike setup. I'm guessing the farest reaching they should get is maybe 5 miles. Mike wise, I've been researching throat mikes. Anything I should know about those? Any recommended ones? Whats your set up?

I just have a bunch of motorolas that we speak to each other with. No headsets or anything yet, but it looks like a cool investment.
No. 6003
Well last game I was at Communication was crap, so this is a necessity, I was afraid of Throat mikes, due to there shittyness, so I might just pick up some Motorollas and then mikes will be supplied by my other squad members.
No. 6004
Dont go with throat mics man. They fucking suck dick. My last unit I was in gave them to us, tried them on one mission, and never again used them. The headset in your pic is excellent though. Just use that and a Push To Talk, and youll be golden.

Hello fellow operators.
I have owned a Echo one X36C (G36C) version three for about a year or so. I have put a couple thousand rounds through it with no problem.
My dad has been borrowing my gun to shoot the squirrel that keeps climbing on my house. Well after a while I stopped hearing my dads stories about how it was at it again so I go check my gun and notice that it wont fire BB's anymore. the magazine still is loading them but the BB's just sit there in the feeding tube. (I have no idea on its real name)
I have tried putting a single BB in their or 4 still nothing then dont feed.
I know the problem is with the gun and not the magazine.
The only BB's i use are either .25 high grade BB's or .2 same high quality. The gun is still lubed up since the last time i sprayed it with silicon airsoft gun lube. This was a good 4 months ago.
I dont have any local airsoft stores so you guys are my only hope.
-pic is of my gun and the place of the problem.

Thanks for the info. Just had bad experiences in the past not one of 4 guns ever got put back together.
So if i do try to replace this how much would it cost at an airsoft store approximately. I live in the SF bay area.

15 bucks if your feeling lucky. To get it fixed by someone else it's anyones guess

I've had a similar problem with mine. You might wanna check to see if the hop unit is still locked in place inside the outer barrel "gas block/battery housing" area.
On the G36 the hop up is held in place by two plastic tabs inside the gas block. It is then pushed out into the feeding nozzle above the magazine by means of a spring. Needless to say, if the tabs break or the gas block splits open (very brittle plastic on both in Chinese guns) the spring pushes the hop up out of place and bbs will no longer enter the hop up.
Take a look by opening the hadguard, splitting the receiver and unscrewing the gas block out of place and pulling everything out.

So Echo 1 has the second annual Appreciation Day here in Southern California. Desert Fox's MOUT field will host the event and I was wondering, any OPERATORs interested in attending or will be attending? I'm tempted to go...

Event is on April 17th.

What do you prefer: Lowcaps, midcaps, or highcaps.

Pic is me after some kid said he only took 6 hicaps into battle because it was more realistic.

Hicaps because I have a Marui FA-MAS and a 9.6v battery. Fuck yeah BB hose.

Actual firearm magazine well dimensions != Airsoft gun magazine well dimensions (there are exceptions to this obviously like that one time someone posted their AR with the CMMG lower with a hicap in it and whatnot, but i believe my point makes some sense)

As for myself, I've been a fan of midcaps for quite a while (I love KA's L5 midcaps for the looks, but the spring retention/access compartment breaks like a motherfucker and the buttplates aren't rubberized ;_;), but after a little bit of consideration I'm considering investing more in hicaps. Can anyone vouch for King Arm's PTS Hicaps? After my experiences with the L5s, even if they look great, I would rather get an opinion of them before I drop the cashmoney.

BUT airsoft Pmag geometry = real Pmag geometry

And the HK416 magwell is like the real deal, too long.

AND I'd tried to put a Pmag in a JG 416, the shit doesn't fit :/

hey /a/

I'm canadian and i want to buy a dboys Kar98k (wood version if possible). I'm ready to take the risk of buying from the usa, do you know where i can find a seller that will ship to canada?

I own one of these, and am in Canada too :)

They're a real fun piece to have, kinda game-able more so on the not game-able side though.

If you're interested in a game-worthy cheap K98 in Canada -Pick up the Dboys when you get a chance too, pick up a VSR-10 and mod 'em together.

Voila, mag fed, Bolt Action K98 that is reliable to game even in colder seasons.

But yeah getting AV'd can take some time, very much worth it though.
Best of luck

Question: Will a TM Mp5 Gearbox fit in a G&G UMG UMP?

Yeah, V2 and V3 gears are compatible.
I wouldn't change anything before it breaks though.

Also, unless yours is really old, the G&G GEARS should be stronger than those in your TM.
