As we've all probably heard by now, KWA is making a Kriss. I don't really have much of an opinion on them other than I think they're ugly, so discuss.

Ones you have owned or which you hate the idea of.

Try and keep a lid on the *mild annoyance* and general airsoft beefs. Don't give a fuck if you are mildly miffed by the profligation of M4gerys out there, be specific in your hatred.

I'm talking HATE.

Type 89s. No spare parts, a bitch to dissassemble, no external additions, small battery compartment, awkward ergonomics, heavy trigger pull. I don't mind the wight of carrying the thing but goddam.
No. 9078 ID: 2ef1f7
TSD L96. Horrible accuracy, heavy as shit, GARGANTUAN seam lines, BOTH body screws stripped the first time I put it together, hopup chamber cracked in a couple hundred rounds, bolt handle won't stay upright, I just said screw it and sold it for $15.

Hey /a/.

I'm looking for a good Light machine gun or SAW, but most of the ones i've seen were pretty expensive, which somewhat scared me away.

I was wondering if you guys have had any experience with airsoft LMGs?

What brands should I look at/stay away from?

Any other information on them I should know?

>>9067 good luck. as i said before, you wont find them in stock NYWHERE, unless you have HK connections and your HK connection finds one hiding in a back room somewhere. china is cracking down on airsoft. thats why there are no JG's, AGM's and other chinaclones available right now.

Some Pros:
AK: The more beat up it is, the better it looks. And if you are playing right, it will get beat up.

M4: Endless customization. IT can be a pistol, a carbine, a long rifle, a DMR, or even a SAW.

MP5: Can be anything you want. Lots of extra parts.

My two cents.
No. 9062 ID: c66747
My opinion generally is to just get a rifle you like since they all pretty much perform the same. So that being the case, tell us what you like, and we can recommend a model/company.

For $200. Comparing that to prices I've seen on the net, that seems hardly worth it. Granted, he's only used it once (Because he thinks it's too heavy, baby.), and it's been sitting in his closet since February. Evike has the same one he has for the same price, and most other places have them for $10-30 more. It was my birthday last week, and I'm thinking of jewing him down on the price. What's a good price range for me to go by? I'm not thinking anything lower than $170.

Mini-type? You're sure? His came with a stick battery and it fit fine.

Not him, no, but I've seen a review in which someone with the same exact model he has put the battery in the stock.

Alright /k/, I need some FDE spray paint for my replica. I've looked EVERYWHERE (yes, I googled) and I CANNOT find any colors close to FDE that'll do the job. Don't tell me Khaki or CB or any BS like that, I need FLAT DARK EARTH. I know there's duracoat and shit, but I don't want to have to go through all that crap.

Pic related, it's the replica as it is now.

Im looking to get a Wood M14, and am looking into the CM032 M14 for 145 USD. Does anyone here know any better M14 around that budget? Im sick of every gun I buy breaking down on me and ending up being a piece of shit.
No. 8951 ID: 20a14b
Order of M14 Awesome regardless of price:

Cable Tier: TM, G&G
Middle-Top Tier: CYMA
Average tier: AGM, Kart.

What you're looking at is the best clone M14, that is to say, the best m14 for your budget, to get a better m14 is to pay more.
No. 9042 ID: 1bc37e
CYMA or TM, I wouldn't consider anything else honestly (maybe an Echo1)
